This week, I finally was able to share the full details of my original work to some of my classmates. I had prepared interesting visuals and an intriguing hook and was happy to get to share my progress with others. I had a great time listening to my classmates' speeches and learning more about their topics and mentor visits. It’s so cool to see how hard everyone is working and how dedicated they are to their topic. I graded myself and others on the presentation and was able to reflect on where I needed to improve and what I should continue doing. This was a great experience that prepared me for my final speech in April. Similar to last week, I reached out to more and more contacts I found on LinkedIn. This search is very bleak because I have gotten no responses, only one accepted request, and am limited by the character limit. I may have to adapt my final product plan to be able to finish my project without interviews, but I still have hope for receiving responses and will continue to search for more information. I also wrote a progress report on how my final product is coming to show all of my work thus far and think ahead to determine what other steps I should be taking. I am feeling very overwhelmed with the end of the semester and am excited to take some time off during spring break to work on my final product at my own pace, without worrying about other tasks.
