2/27-3/3
Due to lack of responses from my LinkedIn messages, I had to alter my plan to be able to create my website without the use of interviews from companies who use Amazon. This was an aggravating process, but I know my website will be just as useful without the interviews. I decided to create a website that somewhat follows the infographic I made for my original work. I have so much previous research completed and think that I can utilize this in addition to current findings to make my website informative and successful. Instead of spending time interviewing professionals, I get to really focus on my website creation and independent research. I spent a lot of time brainstorming and planning the outline of my website. I started my drawing of a flowchart of different pages on a whiteboard to get a visual representation of how many elements I could incorporate into my project without going overboard. I also started messing around with my Terminal, trying to figure out how to connect my programming with a domain, create pages, and add buttons. This is not my favorite part of my work, as it is a lot of trial and error, but I know it will be more interesting as soon as I get a handle on all of the commands and develop a basic website structure. I’m a little nervous about changing my plan so close to the due date, but this idea will be more time efficient and result in the best final product.
