This week, I got to visit with my mentor to create some of the informational content for my website. I wanted to take the website viewers through a choose your own adventure experience where they would have to make decisions about the Amazon supply chain as they reached every step. Knowing that my viewers might not know what each step of supply chain entails, my metro and I came up with the most effective definition of each process and brainstormed the different decisions my viewers could make. In this research process, I got to learn a lot from my mentor about common decision making in supply chain and am excited to use this knowledge to make more simplified decisions on my website. I will need to have someone I know proofread all these definitions and decisions to make sure they are concise and comprehensible. Most of my time this week was spent on website creation and I feel that I am getting to a point where inputting my information and images will be a speedy process. All my work so far has been creating the basic outline with different commands, but now inputting information will be a much easier process. I also sent my invitations out for the final presentation night and got many people close to me who are attending. I am nervous about presenting soon, but know my hard work will pay off.
