1/9-13
This week I wrote an assessment reflecting on my past mentor visits. Because it had been a while since my mentor visit was purely content based, I had to use information from visits back in the fall. Luckily, I had taken notes during these meetings, so I used those to refresh my memory about what I had learned. I wrote about Stryker as a whole and the cool medical technologies they sell and also how a software program works. The other part of my week was focused on creating a tri-fold poster displaying my work so far this year to present to students in my grade in the following week. This project tested my creativity and artistic skill, forcing me to focus on how an audience would be entertained by my work. I included information about my original work, the original work itself, a description of my topic, my mentor information, and images to present some processes in the Amazon warehouse. I will also have to practice my presentational and relational skills as I try to interest students in my topic and poster. I may bring some candy in front of my display to thank students for listening to my presentation. I’m excited for this gallery walk through and I think it will prepare me for my final presentation day.
