This week, I got to dive in on my final product research. My mentor and I discovered different sellers on Amazon that would be the most beneficial to my research and formed a list of possible products I could display on my website. We concluded that it would be nice to find a local Texas seller on Amazon to inquire about and learn how they conduct their supply chain processes using Fulfillment by Amazon. Thus far, I have a list of about 5 companies per category for my research and I am planning to triple this list in the following week. When talking with my mentor, we concluded that it is important that I widen my company options because I predict that the percentage of responses I get will be low. I need to remember not to get discouraged and keep reaching out to as many companies as possible. I also found this Youtube series that explains how to register as a seller on Amazon and plan to send your products to the Amazon warehouse. This was a great resource because I got to see a real seller go through the FBA process and end up being super successful. I am planning to reach out to this content creator as well. I am feeling hopeful for the outcome of my final product and am determined to complete the steps to get there.
