This week, I took the time to update my website to include all of the research and projects I have completed. Because I had not updated my website in a while, this task was very tedious. I had to modify the format of my blog posts so they were posted from most recent to oldest, which involved manipulating the blog feature on my website. Since my reports and research were already in a professional format, I was able to upload them without modification because they were set up specifically for readers to understand my research clearly. Similar to last week, I wrote another assessment about a previously conducted interview. I am grateful to have conducted five interviews and taken such diligent notes because I had lots of information to reflect on even though the interview was conducted weeks ago. For this assessment, I wrote about an interview that was very different from what I anticipated. Although the information from my interview was not directly related to my topic, I learned so much about another area of supply chain and the different skills that were required to be successful in this field. I was very interested in the analytical and technical aspects of this position and I reflected on the differences between this career path and that of other interviews I had conducted. Lastly, I attended our monthly etiquette meal. This is one of my favorite parts of the ISM program. It was nice to enjoy the company of my classmates in a space different from the task-oriented environment of our classroom.
